- The thickness of bit is always measured just inside bit ring. When placed in horse's mouth, there should be max. 5mm (1/4" play on either side of the bit.

Horze Oval Link Joint Full Cheek Snaffle Bit is a versatile bit option that is mild and often useful for well-trained horses. The oval link mouthpiece reduces pressure on the tongue and with the thicker, rounded center link, this bit milder than most other double-jointed snaffles.
A full cheek bit assists with turning and when used with a set of bit keepers, becomes very stable in the horse’s mouth. Often helpful for sensitive horses, full cheek bits should not be used in mounted games like polocrosse in which where equipment could be caught on the extended bars. 12mm mouth; 120mm cheeks. Stainless steel.

Bits should be cleaned with hot water after each use. Dry bit with soft cloth. Metal polish may be used on cheek pieces.
