Shop with 100% confidence at Tack Outlet – if something doesn’t fit you or your horse, return it within 30 days and we’ll refund so you can order the correct size!

How to Make a Return

Tack Outlet wants you to be happy with your purchases. Our Satisfaction Guarantee enables you to return most items. Here’s how to make a return.

Return Shipment Originating within the Contiguous 48 United States

A FedEx return service is available. Shipping charges will be deducted from your refund. Packages weighing up to 10 lbs: $9.95. Add $1 per additional pound.

Step 1: Create your FedEx return label

Step 2: Affix the label to your package and include your original invoice.

Step 3: Drop off your package at a FedEx location. (Only available in the contiguous U.S.)

Return Shipment Originating Outside the 48 Contiguous United States

Please prepay return shipping using the carrier of your choice. Insure your package and get a tracking number.

Policy Details:

For manufacturer’s defects, we extend warranties up to 12 months regardless of brand policy.

Exceptions:

  • Helmets and protective vests: return within 30 days with original tags.
  • New saddles and riding boots: 30-day return, subject to prorated refund based on use.
  • Used saddles: return within 30 days.
  • Opened treats & vet meds: not returnable.
  • Horse blankets: must be clean and debris-free.
  • Underwear: not eligible for return.
  • Gift cards (physical/digital): not eligible for return or refund.

Special Situations:

We may require a receipt or decline a return if:

  • The item wasn’t purchased directly from Tack Outlet.
  • The item is missing a label or is defaced.
  • The item is wet, dirty, or contaminated.
  • You have a pattern of excessive or suspicious return activity.
  • The supplement has been opened or used.
  • The item is personalized (unless defective).

Gift with Purchase Policy:

If your order included a “Gift with Purchase” or “Promotional Gift Card,” the gift must also be returned for a full refund. Used gift cards will be deducted from the return total.

Where is my Refund?

*Note: Refunds may take several business days after processing*

How it Works:

  • Returns are routed through FedEx and consolidated at hubs before reaching our MA center.
  • Returns usually arrive in 10–21 days, but some carriers take over 3 weeks.

Refunds:

  • Once received, refunds are processed and sent to your financial institution.
  • They appear on your account within 1–4 business days (varies by bank).
  • Your original payment method will be credited. Keep prepaid cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) for refunds.
  • If your card rejects the refund, we’ll issue a digital gift card instead.
